This July 27, we celebrate the 148th birthday of Cebu’s hero, Leon Kilat with event,“ Leon@148: Celebrating the magic of 500 years of Cebuano heroism.”
The celebration is in partnership with DepEd7, National Quincentennial Committee, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, Central Visayas Association of Museums, Museo Sugbo, Diyandi Heritage Center, Soan 2020 and Bag-ong Teatro Junquera.

- Awarding of winners of the Cebu Island-wide Essay Writing Contest
- Relaunching of books on Leon Kilat
