Non-representational art is a variation of abstract art that does not depict anything from the natural world. It is devoid of any references to real objects (people, animals, places, etc). Non-representational art is also called complete abstraction or non-figurative art as the artist uses color, shape, form, and lines to express emotions or beliefs. Often it has no subject and the meaning is drawn from the artist’s ideas and the viewer’s interpretation.

“Mindscapes: Masters of Abstractions” is a showcase of non-representational artworks done in painting and three-dimensional forms expressed in various mediums by National Artists and renowned Contemporary Artists from the private collection of the Orlina Family. The exhibition aims to impart an experience of abstract art and inspire young aspiring artists to explore this wonderful and powerful form of art.
