The Geek Event of the Summer returns!

Cosplay.ph and Stompworks Media Studios present the gathering for all fans of sci-fi, fantasy comics, TV, film, literature, and animation… NEXCON 2: HEROES RISING!

Featuring our special guests: ‘Trese’ creators Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo pay Hank Sparrow a visit in the TALES FROM THE DIABOLICAL special panel! Meet the voices behind some of today’s popular dubbed shows in TAGALIZE THIS! featuring veterans Noel Urbano (“Batibot,” “The Dark Knight,” “Kokey”) and Louie Paraboles (“Star Wars,” “Rurouni Kenshin”)!

Meanwhile in the main hall, popular cosplayers Jin Joson and Miguel Mercado will take photography workshops to a fun level with TUX TEACH BY TUX TEAM; DC Comics’ “Convergence” artists Carlo Pagulayan and Jason Paz will be signing autographs; and Anino Comics will be launching their line of titles!

Slug it out with your fellow geeks at GEEK FIGHT BATTLE ROYALE! The best of the best in cosplay in COSPLAY RUMBLE and COSPLAY MASQUERADE! Cosplayers will also slug it out in the performance of their lives in LIP SYNC KOMBAT! Winners of the TAKE COVER Photo Contest will be announced! And watch online debates get real in MASTER DEBATER!

There will be a special free screening of the comics documentary “Illustrated By,” and the 501st Legion will be looking for their droids in the DROID HUNT.
