An advocate of Filipino Folk & Pop music, Nicole Abuda believes in the use of songwriting as a means to intertwine the traditional and the contemporary. Music, for her, is not simply a passion. It is many things: a call to action, a way to ignite people’s emotions, and an effective avenue for self-expression.
She loves to write about everyday events and social issues that affect her greatly. As a songwriter, she believes that she holds a responsibility in the sense that her art has the potential to resonate throughout generations and influence society at large.
