The party / brainchild born in 2008 of Jasmine Solano, Melo-X and Tone’s collective love of Reggae, Hip-Hop, and Electro. Electric Punnany has since grown out, from within the sweaty walls of NYC’S Sway Nightclub, to become a highly anticipated, internationally traveled party!
Followers of Electric Punanny have been treated over the years to guest DJ’s and performers, including Chuck Inglish (The Cool Kids), Million$ Mano, Hollywood Holt, Theophilus London, Mickey Factz, Melanie Fiona, and Scotty B. Artists like Diplo, Maluca, Joell Otiz, Kid Cudi, Murs, Ninja-Sonik, D-Nice, Curtains, and pro BMX rider, Nigel Sylvester among others
In 2013 EP went on their first ‘World Tour’ spanning the entire globe in Paris, London, Stockholm, Munich, Berlin, Australia and Tokyo. In 2014, partnering with House of Marley – EP ventured on a North American Tour culminating at the Do-Over Coachella. This summer EP makes its Glastonbury Festival debut in England as well as Canada, Barbados and Afropunk Festival.

Interna6onal DJ + VJ, Jasmine Solano has remained a major influence on the global music scene for years. Hosting her own MTV Series “Scratch the Surface” – Jasmine’s authenticity & talent shines throughout her various media plagorms. Jasmine has served as a DJ for some of the greatest music/art events and corporate clients worldwide, including MTV, Redbull, WeSC, Tournea, G-Shock, Nylon Mag, Museum of Modern Art, Sundance Film Festival, Nike, Adidas, and X-Games.
Jasmine has DJ’d for high profile clients such as Beyonce, Wiz Khalifa, Talib Kweli. Jasmine’s success has led to global recognition. She has been featured by The New York Times, Nylon Magazine, UK’s Mix Mag as well as Paper Magazine, Elle Girl Japan, Cosmopolitan, Creem, Jay Z’s “That’s Rocawear” campaign and more.

MeLo-X is a sonic creator. Incorpora6ng kaleidoscopic influences from Eminem to Nirvana, from Picasso to Moses, from the sweet scent of Jamaican mango trees to the pungent stenches of dark New York City corners – this Brooklyn native fuses together vibrations of soul, electronic hip hop, old school reggae and new school basement party. MeLo has toured the world since the release of his first mixtape Mustafa’s Renaissance in 2008 – touching down in creative metropolitan hubs like Berlin for the Bread and Butter Tradeshow Festival, London for the YOYO LDN event at the Nolng Hill Arts Club, and he continues to draw hugely expanding crowds in major NYC venues, including SOB’s, Southpaw, The Blender Theater and Webster Hall among others. MeLo most recently worked with Beyoncé and Jay-Z on their “On The Run” Tour as a Music producer and is credited in their tour book as well as their online mini-doc of tour rehearsals.
