Thoughtfully curated by Salcedo Auctions’ expert specialists to celebrate the Season, the catalogue includes an exemplary lineup of over a hundred important Philippine works of art – including a 1956 Quiapo scene by National Artist Vicente Manansala, a 1970 London period acrylic painting by National Artist BenCab, an early Ronald Ventura showcasing his technical prowess, the last of the Tower Club sculptures of Ramon Orlina, and other works by leading artists such as National Artists Napoleon Abueva, HR Ocampo, and Cesar Legaspi.
A major highlight is the late modernist master Justin Nuyda’s ‘favorite work’ and possibly his only 36 x 60 inch oil on canvas which is being sold at this auction, with all proceeds benefiting the family’s chosen beneficiaries, the Search Mindscape Foundation and the Philippine Cancer Society.
