About the Performers

Remi Huppert is a former consultant. specialized in management and international development. He worked in Asia and Africa. and he received the Legion of Honour for his work.

He wrote 14 essays (about philosophy. management). and novels. including The Shadow of Laure. The Journey to Leningrad. Dying in Granada. The Swan of Saigon. Destiny of a Jew from China. At the Sky Palace. The Partition of Exile and lately, Letter to Moses. a circuitous itinerary of a Jew from Hungary.

He is also a piano player. and music plays an important role in his books.

 

The Butch Roxas Quintet is a group of musicians. former students of Professor Sixto Roxas at the University Of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. gathered to perform and record a body of his original compositions and unique arrangements. The students. now graduated and working. have become some of the country’s top session musicians.

It brings me immense joy to be able to share my life’s work with such on astute group of talented and caring young players. Their uniqueness sterns from the fact that they have trained not only as classical and Jazz soloists but as educators as well.”
