This proposed exhibition takes its audience into an exploration of the multiplicity of the word “vessel”.

Vessel an object, a word that means a hollow container or something that is used to hold liquid. Also a vessel, an entity, an individual or a person who has a particular quality or who is used for a particular purpose. In down times such as a pandemic, people start to lose their will to progress and advance. The inability to easily cope up with stress and negativities disable individuals to think clearly and make right decisions. Goals and dreams start to fade and opportunities unintentionally begin to be perceived as unreal and fake. But even when such events happen, there are individuals that make efforts into re-aligning the society and allowing themselves to take their chances into serving their purpose.

Abstract artists/abstractionists are vessels, containing qualities such as persistence, passion, discipline and a whole lot more. These qualities collected from experiences are then allowed to be shared through works of art. Each artwork is a masterpiece built with a unique process that carries mixtures of stories, qualities and emotions which opens new doors for its viewers to begin believing and dreaming again.

The exhibition would like to showcase 8 abstract artists/abstractionists whose works play with unique styles, variations in subjects and use of materials to present collected qualities they’ve obtained throughout their journey as individual artists. Serving as vessels molded by different obstacles and experiences, they now take part in presenting works of art that hopes to ignite the slowly dying resilience in those that will be viewing their works.
