The CCP reopened its doors to the public with WAGI! Celebration of Filipino Excellence. WAGI! continues and this time puts spotlight on Filipino pride and excellence in sports with a special screening of Team Pilipinas: The Atom Araullo Specials on November 26, 7 PM at the CCP Main Theater!
Join us in honoring the athletes who represented the Philippines and won at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics: Hidilyn Diaz, the first Filipino to bring home an Olympic gold medal, silver medalist Nesthy Petecio, the first Filipina boxer to win an Olympic silver medal, Carlo Paalam who bagged the silver medal in the men’s flyweight division, and Eumir Marcial who brought home an Olympic bronze medal in the men’s middleweight division.
