The Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD) and Families of Victims of Involuntary Disappearance (FIND), in partnership with the UP College of Mass Communication (UP CMC), cordially invite you to the free screening of “Walang Paalam” (No Goodbyes) on February 26, 2015 (Thursday) at 6:00 PM at the UP Film Center. “Walang Paalam” is a movie about the lives of victims of Enforced Disappearance and aims to raise public awareness of this continuing human rights violation. The movie showcases talented actors Joem Bascon, Lui Manansala, Lou Veloso, Ronnie Lazaro, Archie Adamos, Meryll Soriano, and Ketchup Eusebio. The three-part film is directed by King Mark Baco, M. Bonifacio, and Pam Miras.

“Walang Paalam” is a movie project of Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD) and Families of the Victims of Involuntary Disappearance (FIND), in partnership with Dakila – Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism, with funding support from Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) and the Commission on Human Rights (through the CHR-AECID Fortaleza Project), Misereor, National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and the family of Atty. Hermon Lagman. The premiere is being organized in cooperation with the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UPCMC).
