Virtual Opening
November 12, 2020 | 6 PM
R Gallery
26 V. Luna Ave, Diliman, Quezon City, 1100 Metro Manila, Philippines
The exhibit features the works of emerging artists with burgeoning talent in Filipino contemporary art scene. In this exhibition, we reflect on how artists respond to the changing environment brought by the pandemic situation. The quarantine life seems to be getting more chaotic and nerve-wrecking as time goes on. And sometimes, going back to basics is one of the ways we can empower ourselves and not get caught up in the rat race.
How do we cope-up with quarantine life? How art-making can be means to translate our introspection to the world that we lived in? How do we understand societal changes in light of mental health, social class, gender, sexuality, politics and so on? Share your thoughts with us or reflect with a creative output! Post it by using the hashtag #BacktoBasicVirtualMode !
