Mervy Pueblo

 

Mervy Pueblo holds an MFA degree in Visual Studies with a focus on Public Art & Sculpture from the Minneapolis College of Arts and Design in the USA, where she also earned MA units in Art Education. She previously obtained a BFA degree in Advertising from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, Philippines. Pueblo has showcased her work in various solo exhibitions, including “Karakoa Journey’s: From Past to Present” at the Nakanojo Museum of Folk and History in Japan. She has participated in juried and group exhibitions globally, such as the Marciano Galang Awards, Art Fair Philippines, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Thirteen Artist Awards. Pueblo’s art often reflects social, political, and feminist themes. Her diverse portfolio spans different mediums and has been featured in galleries in the Philippines, Japan, the USA, and France.Pueblo’s work has received recognition and has been part of prestigious exhibitions, contributing to the vibrant landscape of contemporary art.
