Altro Mondo proudly presents the group show WE OF THE EARTH, curated by Ambie Abaño. Our main feature for Art Fair Philippines 2022.
The exhibition intends to engage the artist to participate in the on-going discussion surrounding climate change, through an artwork – to express his personal take, pose his view, opinion or inquiry on the issue.
To prompt a reflection the artist is invited to complete the question, “What if…” in his own particular context in relation to climate change.
From the completed question, the artist is then invited to respond with an artwork or artworks. The exhibition hopes to bring the public to an occasion to pause and reflect on the implications of our generation’s values, attitudes, way of thinking and living – and how these can affect the lives of generations to come.
WE OF THE EARTH opens this March 19, 2022 at the Altro Mondo Creative Space (1159 Chino Roces, Brgy. San Antonio, Makati City). The collection will be live online at www.artfairphilippines.com from March 23 to April 1, 2022. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
