Everything started with his first clubbing night in Europe. The first kick drum, the first bassline, the first clap!
Half German, half Thai, DJ/Producer, Dan Buri from Bangkok, found his love for electronic dance music when he was just 18 years old. As a former rapper in
a hip hop crew, where he learned all the necessary basic knowledge about rhythms and beats, he has grown and evolved into a respectable member of Thailand’s underground electronic music community.
After establishing himself deeply in the underground music scene of Bangkok City, he has been part of outstanding events, sharing the decks with the likes of
Sven Vaeth, Dubfire, Joris Voorn, Booka Shade, Super Flu, Azari & III, Ramon Tapia, Coyu, Takkyu Ishino, Pig & Dan, Tiefschwarz, Gel Abril and many more.
Besides of Djing and Producing, DAN also manages 2 event series in Bangkok which are focussing on booking the best quality underground acts the world has to offer. His series weekly ROOM49 nights, do have a great impact in the Bangkok nightlife scene, as well as his monthly party known as UNDERGROUND CIRCUS, which he established with Sunju Hargun aka MOODWAX 4 years ago.
His style ranges from the deep melodic house to groovy techhouse to the darker shades of techno. There are basically no boundaries when it comes to setting the mood the crowd desires. And thats actually what sets DAN apart from other artists: THE ABILITY TO CONNECT to the crowd, which enables them to feel this euphoria and tingling positive energy, which his music sets certainly deliver.
Fresh back in Asia from an epic tour of Germany and just a few weeks after his latest hit EP, “Between Dimension” on Asia Music, he is coming to Manila to give us his take on the Deep Dark Dirty flavour.
