Dreamweaving: T’nalak is a lecture and demonstration by the T’boli School of Living Traditions (Philippines) featuring T’nalak weaving.

Maria “Oyog” Todi (Cultural Specialist), Barbara “Buwat” Fanuy Kibed (Dreamweaver) and Andrea Todi Wanan (Young Artist) will share knowledge about T’boli Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices of the ancestral T’boli tradition called t’nalak.

This lecture and live demonstration will focus on the process of T’nalak dyeing, weaving, and T’boli cultural significance of T’nalak.

Dreamweaving: Tnalak is an opportunity to develop an awareness of T’boli material culture, living traditions, and their leadership role in advocating for the rights of Indigenous people in the Philippines.
