Speaker: Dr. Bon Labora
About the Speaker
Dr. Bon Labora is an educator, environmentalist, multidisciplinary artist and an art advocate.
He was a teacher of Fine Arts and Design in University of Santo Tomas in the department of Advertising Arts and Industrial Design. He has his doctorate in Arts and Letters. He also teach Design and Animation in Shine Intervention, a school for special children.
For the past 20 years, he was involve in different art and design industries. Currently, he is the Creative Director of Anino Design.
His passion for art makes him dynamic in diverse art disciplines. Being in love with technology, he created the comics “ï3oA1: The Hitchhiker”. Surrounded by fellow filmmakers, he was always involved in film productions. As a tribute to old Filipino Art, he researched and created the animated Human Rights Infomercial “Warrant”.
He created Agimat: Sining at Kulturang Pinoy as a platform to showcase the unprecedented talents and culture of Filipinos.
