Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan (b. 1962 and 1965 respectively) are both partners in life and art. Working with a variety of materials, their large-scale installations often reflect on themes of family, memory, and displacement. With community involvement being central to their practice, they have worked with and exhibited their installations locally and internationally: Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore to name a few.

Mideo Cruz (b. 1973) is an artist and activist whose works aim to provide social commentary on our globalized reality. Through works created from “capitalist surplus”, Cruz creates pointed statements on politics, religion, mass media, and the institutions and systems that manipulate these facets of our lives.

Racquel de Loyola (b. 1980) is a performance artist whose works delve into the issues of women, colonization, migration, and displacement. She is a Cultural Center of the Philippines 13 Artists Awardee in 2009. She has conducted her performances both locally and abroad.

Mideo and Racquel founded an artist network “New World Disorder” as an initiative in questioning the notions of capitalism and globalization. Currently, both Mideo and Racquel jointly run Bangan Project Space. Located in Gapan City in Nueva Ecija, this space aims to nourish the community through various art events and activities.

Pagsibol Art Talks are monthly art talks by guest speakers from the Contemporary Philippine art scene. They are part of Pagsibol Art Educ Series – Linangan’s outreach program aimed to engage artists and art enthusiasts in educational and community-building activities.
