Hi, everyone! as has always been the case for the past few years now, PLUS wants to help those in need within its capacity, and the past few weeks have especially been fulfilling, inspiring, overwhelming, and staggering at once. as far as non-profit, volunteer, humanitarian, humanist groups go, we have managed to get this far and old — 4 years and counting — without a penny to our names, except for the hearts, talents, and brains we could share in dire situations, but not without the help of our fellow creative, human[e] beings and benevolent friends who have always gotten out of their way to alleviate our beneficiaries’ plight by extending financial and other support, transcending any semblance of politics and publicity on almost all occasions, and we love them and are forever indebted to them for that.

last month, we committed our meager asistance to 35-yr old Eliza Remanez, our friend who is currently battling bone cancer in her left arm after surviving cancer of the left breast, and then more than a week ago, we were introduced to Ate Clemen Andaya’s family’s struggle with Haemophilia A. Ate Clemen’s eldest son, 14-yr old Jaycle, and youngest son, 7-yr old Denber, have the rest of their lives under threats of internal and external hemorrhage due to lack of Factor VIII which facilitates blood clotting.

entrance fee is at P100 per head, not inclusive of food and drinks. 50% of the proceeds from entrance fees and cash donations, if any, will be handed over to Eliza’s sister, Lynda Remanes; the other 50% will be delivered to the Andaya family the next day at the National Children’s Hospital, where the Andaya boys will have their scheduled checkup again.
