Shannah Orencio’s (b. 1995) body of work comprises the utilisation of mostly plants, predominantly dried leaves and flowers, that she picks from different places and happenstance. These collections are then arranged and painted in dynamic compositions emphasising mostly the details and colors of flora up close. She has participated in a number of exhibitions, both local and international. Orencio is a graduate from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications from the College of Fine Arts.
