Binong Javier was born and raised in Caloocan City. He discovered his love for the arts at an early age which eventually made him pursue a degree in Fine Arts – Major in Advertising. The stretch of his life, he followed his interest in music, photography and computer graphics. The years he spent doing graphic designs abroad is a testament to the love he have for the arts.
His journey as a visual artist was not a straight line, it was more of a broken line actually. As a matter of fact, he never made a conscious decision to switch his path. An accident or perhaps a twist of fate, he has rekindled his love for the visual arts after a long vacation from work. He wants to believe that it is a calling more than anything. He always felt that there is nothing more satisfying than doing something out of deep and abiding love, whether in visual arts, music, or other discipline and in his case it is the visual arts.
